Slow Roasted Cherry Tomatoes - Confit

- 500 g of cherry tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 clove of garlic finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of oregano
Preheat the oven at 120°C.
Cut the cherries in the middle.
Put them on a baking plate covering the entire surface without putting them too close.
Sprinkle with the garlic, sugar, salt and pepper.
Drizzle the cherries with olive but not in excess.
Place a few sprigs of thyme over tomatoes.
Cook at 120 ° C for 1 hour and a half.
Let them cool outside the oven.
Serve them as a side dish, or add to your salad or pasta recipe.
